Dr. Sarita Maturu is an Epileptologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. 


Her clinical, educational, and academic focus is on women with underlying neurological conditions. She has established and is the lead physician for the Epilepsy Pregnancy Clinic and a Preconception Planning for Women with Epilepsy Clinic at Ohio State University (OSU). She has also helped develop the Neuroimmunology Pregnancy Planning and Breastfeeding Clinic as well as the Headache Pregnancy Clinc at her institution. 


Dr. Maturu is a board member of My Epilepsy Story which is a nonprofit organization directed towards empowering women and girls with epilepsy and an active member of the Epilepsy from Childbearing Age to Menopause (ECAM) Consortium. She also serves as the Medical Director of the Neurology Specialty Clinics at OSU, creating and operationalizing over 20 subspecialty and multidisciplinary clinics across 9 different Neurology divisions to provide innovative and comprehensive care to those with very specific neurological conditions
