Dr Bove has 30 years experience researching women’s health - from a lifespan, sociocultural, neurological and molecular perspective. She has made contributions to the fields of pregnancy, lactation and menopause management in women with neuroinflammatory diseases (MS, NMOSD). At UCSF, she is Rosenberg Ach Family Endowed Professor in Neuroimmunology  and Founding Director of the Sex and Gender Enriched Neurology Program. She lectures widely on the topic and is a Co-Founding Director of the Neuring collaborative network.
