Megan Donnelly, DO is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at UNC School of Medicine, as well as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Campbell School of Osteopathic Medicine, and she is on teaching faculty for Novant Health Family Medicine Residency Program.
She graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Donnelly then completed neurology residency and headache fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. She also received specialized training in Women's Neurology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center with Dr Janet Waters.
Prior to joining Novant Health, Dr Donnelly practiced neurology at the Cleveland Clinic, as their first physician to offer specialized care in Women's/Obstetric Neurology. She also served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
Donnelly is currently a UCNS certified headache neurologist at Novant Health, where she holds several leadership positions. She is Founder and Director of Novant’s Women’s Neurology Program, and is Founder and Director of their Comprehensive Headache Center. She currently serves as Lead Physician for the Department of Neurology.
